My name is Anne Nikko. I am a certified personal trainer, fitness coach and a group workout instructor at Xclusive Fitness. I have been in fitness industry since 2014. I acquired my certification from FIT Malaysia. I have been competing in bodybuilding since 2017 and participated in 3 competitions internationally in Singapore and Philippines.

How I find my motivation Back in 1986, when I was How I find my motivation Back in 1986, when I was 7 years old, my dad and uncle used to do bodybuilding for fun. I used to watch him trained at home in his super mini home gym. He had a barbell, a pair of dumbbell and a wooden bench press with leg extensions that he built himself. He also collects bodybuilding magazines, I used to read it, that’s how I know about Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno. I watched him eating raw eggs and had stack of supplements. You know the lifestyle of a bodybuilder. Those time bodybuilding was a guy thing, not for the women. Dad never competed probably because it is an expensive sports and takes a very high commitment if you want to go far. It’s funny, now that I’m doing the same thing, my kids are watching me. I remember after I won my first medal on my first show, my dad called me he told me he never expected that I would be living his dream. “You always been a very shy and quiet girl, bukan saja bertanding level kampung-kampung, international bah. I am so proud of you”. And I cried. Dad I may not be the doctor or lawyer that you want me to be, but I’m a bodybuilding athlete that you have always aspire to be. I never plan to do this when I was young, it just happens years later, during my lowest of the lowest. Anyway, from that moment, one of my many dreams and hope I would like to do was to take my parent to Melbourne and watch me competing on stage with best of the best at Arnold Classic. I want them to see their little girl Ms Nikomedis made it. Win or lose it doesn’t matter (of course I wanna win!) You see that’s how I find my motivation. It started from within myself. Anchor it with love, clear goals and knowing what I wanted, commit to it.
